Darling and wine route - Darling is known as the wildflower jewel and it is the heartbeat of the West Coast region. The little village lies tucked away between hills of vineyards and golden wheat fields. 'Evita se Perron' is a lively place to meet, eat, drink and talk. Since its inception, the Darling wine route has grown immensely in popularity. Cloof, Groote Post, Darling Cellars, Ormonde and Tukulu offer wine tastings and many also provide scrumptious meals.

Khoisan Cultural Village - Visit the Khwattu cultural village situated in an 850 ha nature reserve. This place is dedicated to the oldest inhabitants of South Africa, the Khomani (San or Bushmen). The ‡Khomani are the last surviving indigenous San community in South Africa and their living cultural landscape is an important aspect of our national culture. The San themselves will take you on a journey into their history, traditional knowledge, skills, languages, customs and current affairs. You ca also opt to follow your own exploration.

West Coast Fossil Park

Optional: Fossil park and Potsberg West Coast National Park with Archaeological Fossil sites.

The Fossil Park, adjacent to the West Coast National Park, has uncovered 200 different kinds of animals, many of them new to science. The West Coast National Park / Potsberg nature reserve is open to public only during Aug/Sept. These areas also feature stunning rock formations and geographical diversity, unspoilt beaches and incredible mountain ranges. Many antelope are to be seen.
