Cape Point
Explore the nature reserve with breath taking views (Cape Point),Recognised as a World Heritage Site,Discovered by Bartholomeu Dias, the Portuguese seafarer, was the first to sail around Cape Town and the Cape (in 1488). On his return voyage,Dias stopped at the south-western tip of South Africa, and named it Cabo Tormentoso, or Cape of Storms. King John of Portugal later gave it the name Cabo da Boa Esperança, or Cape of Good Hope.

Boulders Beach Penguin Colony
Visit the penguins colony in Simon’s town. Although set in the midst of a residential area, it is one of the few sites where this vulnerable bird can be observed at close range, wandering freely in a protected natural environment. From just two breeding pairs in 1982, the penguin colony has grown to about 3,000 birds in recent years.

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden
Kirstenbosch was founded in 1913 to preserve the flora native to the South Africa’s territory.The garden includes a large conservatory exhibiting plants from a number of different regions, including savanna, fynbos, karoo and others. Outdoors, the focus is on plants native to the Cape region, highlighted by the spectacular collections.
