Iziko Slave Lodge
The Slave Lodge is one of the oldest buildings in Cape Town. The Slave Lodge housed the slaves who belonged to the Dutch East India Company (VOC). These slaves worked for the VOC and were never sold. Very little is known of the people who lived in the Lodge, We know what type of work they did and we know something of conditions in which they lived.

Castle of Good Hope
The Castle is home to three prestigious Cape Town museums. The Military Museum which is steeped in military history, the William Fehr Collection where you will find fine and interesting examples of paintings and decorative arts of special relevance to the Cape concerning the peoples and landscapes of early colonial South Africa and the permanent ceramic exhibition, FIRED, situated in the old granary at the Castle.
