Experience a unique and leisurely journey through the rolling vineyards of South African wine country on the Franschhoek Wine Tram. You will travel in an open-side tram and open-air tram-bus stopping in at some of South Africa’s oldest and most distinguished wine estates. Enjoy two wine tastings, and feel free to purchase any other food and beverages you like. Your storytelling guide will also take you on a tour through Franschhoek village, sharing with you the fascinating history of the French Huguenots. You then visit Babylonstoren, a historic Cape Dutch farm dating back to 1692, boasting one of the best preserved farmyards in the Cape. Babylonstoren showcases vast, incredible gardens of great botanical diversity, as well as fruit and vegetable gardens, an intriguing labyrinth, and more.
