Overview

Your experience begins in style as an excellent tour guide picks you up at your accommodation. You'll be taken to the Waterfront where a boat ride awaits you as you begin your journey across the ocean to Robben Island.

On the Island, you'll be guided on a full 3-4 hour tour by an ex-prisoner. You'll learn all about the history of the Island, its inhabitants, and more. The Island is known for housing a prison that once held the famous Nelson Mandela and other freedom fighters during the apartheid era. You'll get to visit the cells and see where Nelson Mandela was held for 27 years on his long walk to freedom.

After your experience at the Island, your friendly guide will take you to the iconic Table Mountain, known as one of the world's natural seven wonders. Here you'll ride a cable car all the way to the top and catch stunning views of the cityscape.

You'll make one more visit to Bo-Kaap where you'll get the chance of taking spectacular photos next to its famous colorful houses.
